A group of teens in Chicago's western suburbs are delivering a
mental health wake-up call. It comes in the form of something
called "Beyond Charity." The global pandemic has been a
blamed for an increase in depression and suicides among
adolescents. But as Lissa and Thom learn from this foursome
of high schoolers, the mental health crisis among their peers has
been simmering longer than COVID.
You'll be inspired by what these young adults from Naperville
Central High School have accomplished and the drive they have to
eliminate the stigma that comes with mental illness.
